About this work
A colour chromolithograph plate shows the orb of Tsar Aleksei Mikhailovich in two large circular views, one above the other, with two side views and four floral clasp-like ornaments arranged around them. The orb is densely set with red cabochon gems, silver-toned facets, and blue and green enamel panels in radiating rosette patterns.
