About this work
A black-and-white woodcut titled Burza, made by Edmund Bartłomiejczyk in 1933, shows a rider in a tricorn hat holding a rearing horse on railway tracks during a heavy rainstorm. A wooden barrel is strapped to the horse's back, and a tall forest and a fallen pole or barrier stand in the background.
