About this work
This engraved print titled Le Boudoir shows a woman in an 18th-century style gown seated in an upholstered armchair within an elegantly decorated room, with a birdcage and potted plant beside a draped curtain. A second woman is visible through the open window at right, and a verse inscription appears in a decorative panel below the image.
