About this work
A print of four framed scenes set in dense woodland, three showing satyr-like figures with nude or partly draped women and putti in bacchanal poses, and one showing a satyr holding a child beside a woman raising a cup near a vase. The compositions are rendered in fine etched lines, with the figures appearing as sculpted reliefs within medallions and rectangular panels.
