About this work
An engraved print shows an elegant 18th-century style interior with a standing woman in a richly patterned gown and high hairstyle, a man bending toward a child, and an older seated woman at left near a window. A small dog sits at the lower right beneath a decorative swag of drapery, all set within an ornamental architectural frame. The work is catalogued as Le Jour (J. B. Patas) by Albert Christophle, undated, as a print.
