About this work
A colorful pictorial map of Manhattan from the Battery to 59th Street, with stylized buildings, bridges, ships, airplanes and a zeppelin drawn in the surrounding waters. A legend in the lower right explains symbols for stations, churches, police stations and hotels, and a cartouche in the lower left depicts two figures. Kaj Klitgaard created the print, dated 1920.
