About this work
A pictorial map of England with illustrated borders, decorative portraits of historical figures, and small vignettes marking literary, historical and cultural sites across the country. Cartoon-style ships, castles and landmarks fill the sea areas and the lower margin, with London monuments shown along the bottom. The work is credited to Colortext Publications, Inc. and dated 1936.
