About this work
A hand-colored anatomical plate titled Tumors on the Falx Cerebri, under the heading Diseases of the Cerebro-Spinal Axis, shows several views of brain tissue with pinkish-red masses attached to the dura mater and falx. Labeled figures mark the tumors (T.C.), dura mater (D.M.), falx cerebri (F.C.), and cerebral surfaces, with detailed vascular patterns rendered across the brain. The print was created by Jean Allard Jeancon in 1888.
