About this work
A dark engraved map titled B.C. 2348. The Deluge shows a small yellow landmass at lower left, surrounded by concentric wave-like rings that fade outward into the black field. Labels for Mount Ararat, Havilah and Cush are visible within the yellow area, and the sheet is framed by numbered latitude and longitude scales. The print was published in London by Seeley & Burnside and engraved by S. Hall, dated 1836.
