About this work
A woodblock print shows a crowded wooden bridge spanning a river at dusk, with people on foot and in small boats below. A full moon rises over the city, and red fireworks burst in the upper right sky. The title cartouche in a fan-shaped panel and the artist's signature by Keisai Eisen date the work to 1844.
