About this work
A colorful lithograph of a spring farmyard scene with a half-timbered farmhouse, a large haystack, and a horse-drawn cart beside a flowering cherry tree. A man with a knapsack walks along a path toward a signpost pointing to Wasserburg, while children sit among wildflowers and geese, chickens, and a dog move around the yard. Walther Georgi created this print, dated 1907, as the spring plate in a series of pictures of the four seasons.
