About this work

A decorative lithograph arranged as a grid of oval and arched portrait medallions framed by elaborate rococo scrollwork and floral garlands. The central medallion shows an older general with a heavy white beard, flanked by smaller portraits of officers in dark uniforms with epaulettes, and full-length pairs appear at the bottom. The print is titled Our Generals, produced by John H. Bufford's & Sons in 1862.
