About this work
A hand-colored scientific plate of microscopic organisms, numbered 1 through 9, showing yeast-like budding cells, chains of rod-shaped bacteria, a flagellated bacterium, spore-containing sacs and spiral forms. The plate bears the printed credit line for the Mikroskopische Tafeln series by Dr. Täuber, painted by A. Fiedler, and the publisher K. G. Lutz Verlag, Stuttgart.
