This 1940 print by Wolfgang Preuss is a German educational map sheet titled Vom Segen der Erde III, showing hazard zones for people and the economy. The lower world map marks drought areas, flood zones, volcanoes, earthquake centers and storm paths, with population density shaded in yellow and orange. Four smaller maps above show the shares of world production of silver, gold, rubber and diamonds by country.
