About this work
This printed geological map shows the bedrock beneath Central Europe, with colour-coded formations ranging from Quaternary deposits to ancient crystalline rocks. A legend in the upper left explains the geological periods, and a scale bar of 1:6,000,000 with kilometres appears along the bottom. The work is a print by Wolfgang Preuss, dated 1940.
