About this work
A printed azimuthal equidistant projection map centered near Beirut, showing the continents, oceans and Antarctica in pale grey tones with blue concentric distance rings marked in nautical miles. Two small hemisphere insets appear along the bottom, and a legend notes that all distances from the center are correct. The map was produced by the Office of Strategic Services in 1943.
