About this work
This printed map from 1938 shows the waterways of eastern Central Europe, with existing and planned canals marked by different line styles across Germany, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary and the Balkans. Insets detail the Oder river network from its source to the Görlitzer Neiße and the Ottmachau, Stauwerder and Turawa reservoirs in Upper Silesia. The sheet was published by Volk und Reich Verlag in Berlin.
