About this work
This page from a historical atlas shows two colour-coded maps of the German Empire and central Europe. The upper map depicts annual temperature zones with January and July isotherms, while the lower map shows the spring arrival dates across the region using shaded bands. Rivers, mountain ranges such as the Alps and Carpathians, and major cities are labelled.
