About this work
This printed plate by Carl Diercke shows six maps of the same region at decreasing scales, from a detailed town plan to a broad regional atlas sheet. Colour-coded elevation bands and labelled place names such as Braunschweig, Bad Harzburg and the Harz mountains are visible across the panels. A legend of elevation layers runs along the bottom of the page.
