About this work
A man in a hat and loose blue jacket stands on a cobbled village street, gazing upward while chickens, a rooster and a cat move about around stone bollards and a chain. A church spire and half-timbered houses with a smoking chimney line the background. The drawing in black ink with blue colored pencil is dated 1926 and was made by Anny Leusink.
