About this work
A pen-and-ink drawing shows a young woman in a light blouse, sash, and bloomers with dark stockings reaching up to grip a trapeze bar while standing on a wooden platform. A second woman sits at the lower right, watching, and a row of wall bars and a wooden cabinet appear in the background. The work is titled "Au gymnase, le trapèze" and is attributed to Henri Guydo, dated 1900s-1920s.
