About this work
A woodblock print shows a long wooden bridge with many piers crossing a blue river under falling snow, with rows of tiled-roof houses and a pink western-style building along the far bank. Snow-covered hills rise behind the town, and a small pagoda appears among the slopes. Hashiguchi Goyō created this print, titled Great bridge at Sanjo in Kyoto, in 1920.
