A detailed bird's-eye engraving of Liverpool seen from a balloon, showing dense rooftops, streets, and church spires spreading toward a busy harbour filled with steamships and sailing vessels on the water. The view extends across the river to the distant shoreline under a hazy sky. This 1885 print was drawn by H. W. Brewer and William Lionel Wyllie.
