About this work
A chromolithographic print titled "Comin home from the fair" shows two men riding in a wagon pulled by a pair of galloping horses along a dirt road. One man with a white beard raises a whip while the other, in a cap, waves his arm, and a verse is printed on a scroll at the right. Golden fields of harvested sheaves, trees and a farmhouse fill the background. The work was issued by Calvert Litho. Co in 1890.
