About this work
A monochrome circus print shows a female acrobat balancing on the shoulders of a male performer atop a team of galloping horses, while a second acrobat leaps overhead and a clown with a whip watches from the left. The horses wear ornate harnesses with tassels and a crowd fills the tiered seating beyond. The work is credited to Russell, Morgan & Co. and dated 1900.
