About this work
A woodcut print in white on black shows a jester-like figure with a crescent-topped cap and pointed ruff, balancing on a large globe while holding a scepter in one hand and a flaming torch-like object in the other. Radiating circles and diagonal streaks surround the figure, and the work is signed A. Daenens and dated 1931, titled La folie dominant le monde.
