About this work
This pen and ink drawing shows an allegorical scene set on a raised, hexagonal platform, with crowned and robed figures gathered in conversation and skeletal figures in the lower left. A winged putto and an enthroned woman with candelabra appear in the upper portion, and nude figures struggle at the lower right.
