A fragmentary sheet bearing a repeating pattern of small four-petaled flowers set within a diagonal diamond lattice, printed in grey-black ink. The paper is worn and stained with browned, torn edges, and the ornament fills the entire surface. This is Sheet with Flower and Diamond Pattern, an anonymous German print from 1500 held by the National Gallery of Art.
