This ink and wash drawing, titled Market Scene, shows a seated woman in a long dress beside a large barrel and two wooden wheels under a canopy. Figures in hats and cloaks stand and sit around her, with a pot, plates, and a bird resting on the ground in the foreground. The work is attributed to an anonymous Netherlandish artist of the 17th century and is held by the National Gallery of Art.
