A hand-colored woodcut shows a central figure with a halo, arms raised and holding a sword and a lily, flanked by two kneeling figures with haloes. Skulls rest on the green ground in the lower foreground. The work is attributed to an anonymous German artist of the 15th century, dated c. 1460/1470, and is held by the National Gallery of Art.
