This painting shows a crowded outdoor celebration beneath tall willow trees, with a parade of carriages, mounted riders and uniformed soldiers moving across a grassy open space. Spectators in period dress line the foreground, and an American flag and a white fountain rise at the right. The work is attributed to William Sharp and is held by the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
