About this work
A monochrome print titled Flowers, made in 1919 by Arthur Bowen Davies, shows several nude women reclining and intertwined across the sheet in loose, delicate linework. Soft tonal shading and dark hair mass give the figures volume against the pale paper, and the artist's signature appears in the lower centre.
