About this work

This triptych shows the Crucifixion of Christ in the central panel, with mourning women and a kneeling woman in red and teal at the foot of the cross, and soldiers in turbans and armour nearby. The side wings depict standing saints in white, black and green robes, one holding a chalice and another accompanied by an angel.
