About this work
This painting shows the Gothic towers and spire of Notre-Dame cathedral rising above the Seine, with a stone bridge spanning the water in the foreground. A small steamboat and a moored barge sit on the grey-green river under a muted, cloudy sky. The work is titled Paríž, painted by Elemír Halász-Hradil in 1903.
