A procession of pilgrims in period dress walks along a broad road in the foreground, several carrying staffs and some wearing tall headdresses. Behind them lies a town with a church tower and a castle-like complex beneath a wide, hazy landscape of hills. The work is attributed to Jakob Fürchtegott Dielmann and its title refers to the Walldürn pilgrims passing Höchst am Main.
