A figure study in pencil and grey wash shows a man seen from behind, standing with his arms bent and his sleeves rolled up. Light highlights on the sleeves and shading on the trousers and boots give the figure its volume against the grey-toned paper. The work is attributed to Anton Burger under the title "Farmer from behind".
