About this work
This is a graphite and white chalk study on grey paper showing studies of draped cloth with soft folds and highlights. A faint outline of a reclining figure appears in the upper area, suggesting a preparatory sketch. The work is attributed to Victor Müller and is catalogued under the title referencing a seated female nude with drapery from Der Mensch, der Schlaf und der Traum.
