About this work
A graphite drawing on grey paper shows a seated male nude seen from a steep angle, with one leg drawn in strong foreshortening. The raised right arm is accented with red chalk lines tracing its bone structure, and a handwritten inscription 'Paris' appears in the lower right corner.
