About this work
Two young figures, a woman in a dark bodice and a girl in a red headscarf, lean over a low stone wall to feed a group of ducks gathered at the water's edge. The scene is set in a sunlit village courtyard with terracotta roofs and greenery behind it. The painting is attributed to Charles Bertrand d'Entraygues and dated 1878.
