A black and white lithograph shows a wounded wolf on the ground, surrounded and attacked by several hunting dogs in a wooded clearing. A hunter with a gun walks along the right edge of the scene beside dense shrubbery and tall trees. The printed caption reads Chasse au loup, L'animal blessé est assailli par les chiens, and the sheet is credited to Decamps, published in London in 1829.
