This plate shows architectural details of stone capitals and moldings, rendered in grey wash with careful shading to suggest carved relief. The upper section depicts a row of leafy capital ornament with spiral volutes, while the lower left shows an interlaced lattice carving and the right shows a profile of a molding, labeled Fig. 2.
