About this work
An engraved half-length portrait of a bearded man in polished armor, holding a baton in his gloved hand and turning his gaze to the side. A Latin inscription beneath names the sitter as Emanuel Frockas Perera et Pimentel, Count of Feria, and the plate is credited to Paulus Pontius after Anthony van Dyck, dated 1630.
