About this work
This etching, titled Three Veiled Women, shows three female figures wrapped in flowing veils, with one seated figure in the foreground and two standing figures behind her. The fine hatched lines and dense shading create texture across the drapery and faces. The work is an 1899 print by Albert Besnard.
