About this work
Two girls are rendered in pen and ink with light watercolor washes of yellow and green. The taller girl leans casually against an unseen support in a loose undergarment with ruffled trim, while the shorter girl stands with hands on hips in a floral-patterned blouse, striped stockings and hair tied with red bows. Titled Two Girls, the work is attributed to Jules Pascin and dated 1907.
