This engraved print shows two oval-framed portrait busts of men, one in a cap and one with curled hair, set above a still life of a palette, brushes, a quill in an inkwell, and a bound book. The inscription below identifies the sitters as Willem van Mieris and Frans van Mieris, after a design by Aert Schouman and engraved by J. Houbraken.
