About this work
This painting by Cornelis van Haarlem presents three nude women embracing in the foreground, with a red urn and reclining male figures at lower left. A luminous group of figures gathers in the clouds above, while two winged cupids appear beside a reclining nude near a stream. The work is dated 1622 by the monogram visible on the rock at lower left.
