It shows a crowd of richly dressed figures, dancing women, horsemen, a seated musician at a pipe organ, a bishop-like statue and a tall column topped by a figure, arranged in a ceremonial scene. The work is attributed to Eliseu Visconti and dated 1906, and it is a cartoon for the stage curtain of the Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro.
