This design study shows stylized blue-grey trees with clustered blossoms rising over a red ground patterned with small white dots and lattice motifs. A large orange anemone-like bloom appears at the base, with yellow flowers and green foliage framing the edges. The work is a study for a printed fabric by Eliseu Visconti, dated 1897.
