About this work

A painted landscape shows a calm river winding between dark evergreen trees on the right and a lush bank on the left, with its surface mirroring the blue-green foliage. Puffy white clouds drift across a pale blue sky above a distant wooded shoreline, while reeds and a narrow dirt path lead the eye through the foreground.
