A bearded, crowned king sits in a red robe trimmed with white ermine, his expression anxious and his mouth open. A dark, horned demon with bat-like wings and a clawed tail crouches behind him, while a sword lies on the ground in the lower right. This print is the illustration by Włodzimierz Tetmajer for Lucjan Rydel's Betleem polskie, dated 1906, and appears after page 33 of the book.
